Building Independence

“Now I know I can do anything. It is so good to have people to help people like me who just need a chance.”
Many of those we serve echo the refrain of this Goodwill graduate.
As they set new goals and take the necessary steps to achieve them, Goodwill’s staff members are there to guide them. Sometimes they are able to tap into resources in the community an individual with a disability or disadvantage may not have known were available to them. Whether they are participating in a workforce development program at Goodwill or are participating in individual and family services, they are taking advantage of opportunities to build their independence.
