Your
employees or members can get that Goodwill feeling by volunteering for an
activity that is fun, well-organized, and valuable.
Please consider holding a community or internal corporate donation drive.
Your team gets the word out (Goodwill can provide flyers and posters) then
staffs a drop-off site the day(s) of the drive. We’ll publicize their
participation in our community newsletter and Web site.
Reusable household items are the lifeblood of Goodwill. When we sell
them in our 12 regional retail stores, revenues help further our mission
of helping people with disabilities and disadvantages build independence.
Last year we helped more than 3100 people in eastern Washington and
northern Idaho. We are very proud of the fact that out of every dollar we
take in, 85¢ funds our workforce development and social services programs.
Since we are experienced in conducting such drives, our staff makes sure
they go smoothly. It is a great way to involve your team members in a
project they will enjoy and will feel good about doing.
